Rhonda S. Musselman, 61 of Altoona went home to be with the Lord late Tuesday evening March 5, 20024 at her residence following a nineteen-month battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born July 13, 1962, in Altoona, a daughter of Karen (Kaufman) Walker and the late David Aurandt. She married Samuel B. Musselman on February 20, 1993, at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel; two daughters, Lindsay Ulrich (Rob), and Kaitlin Bordack Quirin (Zeke); ten grandchildren, Emma Duffield, Landyn Ulrich, Levi Ulrich, Lincoln Ulrich, Ava Bordack, Lucas Bordack, Zion Bordack, Abby Quirin, Adaleigh Quirin, and Graysyn Quirin; great grandchild, Haven Cagle; mother, Karen Walker (Bob); step-brother, Bill Aurandt; and two special cousins, Pam Aurandt, and Diane Lidwell.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Loretta Kaufman, and Helen Mattas Aurandt, and John Aurandt.
Mrs. Musselman attended Hillside Community Church, Juniata.
She was a 1980 graduate of Altoona Area High School, and a 1990 graduate of the Altoona School of Commerce.
She was employed as a research coordinator at the Altoona Center for Clinical Research with over sixteen years’ service.
Rhonda enjoyed camping with her family, kayaking, and painting. She was a lover of animals, but her greatest love was anytime her family was together and watching her grandchildren play.

She was an advocate of early detection for ovarian cancer and would want all ladies to please be aware and guard their health.
Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday March 11, 2024, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Nathaniel Gray officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
