Justin Michael Kelly, 30 of Altoona died unexpectedly Monday afternoon February 26, 2024, at UPMC Altoona as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born December 21, 1993, in Altoona, a son of Charles E., Jr. and Cheryl A. (Worley) Kelly.
Surviving are his parents with whom he resided; sibling, Dimitri “Kris” Kelly also at home, to whom Justin was a role model; numerous extended family members; and his besties, Aeriel Wilkins, and Tina Tirado.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He was a 2012 graduate of Altoona Area High School, and a 2019 graduate of Penn State Altoona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
He was currently employed as a flex driver for Amazon, and he had previously been employed at May’s Kennel, Duncansville in the dog grooming area.
Justin had a passion for helping people in need all around the world. He was an avid reader. He enjoyed dog-sitting and playing online games with his friends. He was always up for a good debate and you had better be at the top of your game if you were to contest him.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 2, 2024, at Trans4mation Church, 1001 South First Street, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Balzano officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Justin to the family in care of the funeral home would be appreciated.
